CEMA reports July conveying equipment orders drop 75% from where they were in June.

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its July 2020 booked orders decreased 4.8% when compared to July 2019 booked orders and 75.84% when compared to June 2020.
July 2020 booked orders for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 10.29% compared to June 2020. July 2020 booked orders for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 81.19% when compared to May 2020.
CEMA’s July 2020 billed sales (shipments) increased 5.77% when compared to July 2019, and decreased 17.03% when compared to June 2020.
July 2020 billed sales for Bulk Handling Equipment decreased 17.64% when compared to June 2020. July 2020 billed sales for Unit Handling Equipment decreased 16.87% when compared to June 2020.
