SFC Series downward flow cartridge dust collectors effectively remove harmful pollutants resulting from common industrial processes including bulk powder handling, grinding, buffing, sanding, welding, and more, allowing manufacturing facilities to meet OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations. In the unlikely event of an explosion, this explosion vent-equipped cartridge collector can safely relieve the generated pressure and direct the explosion in a controlled manner in order to prevent damage or injury in adjacent areas. UAS offers two types of explosion vents, including rupture panels or swing door (may be reset), which allow the dust collector systems to meet NFPA 68 standards.
