Coca-Cola HBC, bottling partner to Coca-Cola Co., has been ranked as the world’s most sustainable beverage company in the 2024 Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices. This is the eighth time the beverage bottler has been named on the list.

The Best-in-Class Indices were formerly known as the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) and are issued by S&P Global. Coca-Cola HBC's score positions it in the top 1% of 9,400 companies across 62 industries worldwide. It was listed in the Top 1% S&P Global CSA Score.

The company’s efforts were also recognized by the double-A rating from CDP on climate and water in 2024. CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system.

“We continuously evolve our business model to deliver growth successfully and sustainably at the same time and take a clear and strategic approach to sustainability that makes our business more resilient," said Coca-Cola HBC CEO Zoran Bogdanovic. "Each year we make good progress towards our ambitious and measurable objectives in sustainability. In 2025, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved our NetZeroby40 target which, for the first time, includes Egypt.

“We know that sustainability initiatives are increasingly important for our customers and consumers. Our customers tell us they value our sustainability expertise and our joint sustainability initiatives help grow their business, which, in turn helps make our own business stronger.
