The Battery Show North America’s well-organized conference program manager, Jumana Abdulla, is putting the word out: It’s time once again for battery-industry experts to prepare proposals for the 2025 conference. Even though October 6–9, the dates of the conference, may feel far away in February, be assured that the work that goes in to putting it together has begun in earnest.

The deadline for online submission of proposals is March 20.

As a member of the conference advisory board, I am involved in the evaluation process each year: Believe me, it is thorough and exacting. But in my role as Battery Technology editor, each year I receive earnest queries from battery experts about possible conference speaking roles as late as the week before the start of the event. So, to be clear, that deadline once again is March 20. More information is available here.
