In January, the FDA had 19 recalls in the food & beverage, pet food, and drug sectors. This is nearly half December recalls, which were 32; November had 20.

There were 15 food & beverage recalls, 2 pet product recall, and 2 drug recall in January. Of the 14 food & beverage recalls, 10 were due to undeclared allergens, 1 was for undeclared sulfites, 1 was for possible Salmonella contamination, 1 was due for the potential of choking, and 1 was for possible lead contamination.
